Hey,
My name is Daniela, I'm an Italian-Brazilian photographer and artist based in Portugal.
I've been photographing and telling stories for most of my life. I wrote a book when I was 10 and learned to photograph when I was 15 (to document my first travels). I'm graduated in journalism and was a staff photographer for Exame magazine - Brazil's leading business magazine - from 1999 to 2003. As a freelance photographer I made portraits for newspaper, magazines and corporate clients, but I found my true calling documenting weddings and families (and all the love involved).
I'm also a teacher and a speaker, I love sharing my expertise with other photographers.
I believe in art as a fundamental part of the human experience and in photography as memory. Travel makes me happy and teaches me a lot. My heart and soul are full of joy when I create something beautiful, especially when it is an image that encapsulates love and that will be cherished for many years to come.

Meu nome é Daniela e há 5 anos troquei o Brasil por Portugal. Desde cedo fui apaixonada por histórias: escrevi um livro aos 10 anos e comecei a fotografar aos 15, para documentar minhas primeiras viagens. Nunca mais parei. Estudei jornalismo e trabalhei em revistas e para grandes empresas, mas encontrei minha verdadeira paixão em contar histórias de vida, como casamentos, nascimentos e outros momentos especiais
Acredito que a arte tem fundamental importância em nossas vidas e que a fotografia é também memória. Amo viajar, ter novas experiências, conhecer pessoas. Ajudar as pessoas a verem a beleza da vida (às vezes nelas próprias) enche meu coração de alegria.
